Origami Masu Box
Learn how to fold a useful origami masu box, sometimes called a blintz box, because it starts with the blintz base.
This origami box is easy to make from one sheet of square paper. You can make a lid to fit, using the same method (shown in the tutorial).

1. This is the back of the paper, usually white. This side will not be visible on the final box.

2. This is the front of the paper, your box will end up being this colour. Start this side up.

3. Fold the bottom edge up to the top edge.

4. Unfold the previous step.

5. Fold the right edge over to the left edge.

7. Flip the paper over to the other side.

It Worked and it looks great but the lid doesn’t fit. I don’t know if this was user error or instruction error.
I did it and my lid fit maybe check the gap on step 27 and 29 or watch the video.
Users error mine works fined
Mine was slightly too big too. I think it’s if you make the gap to big when you fold the top bottom and side parts over in the next to last step.

I have tried to make it but there is a problem with No. 20 onwards
There may be a the size of my page size
Enjoyed making it, I used 15*15 paper; So beautiful.
You can also use a very little amount of glue for the bottom of your box to make sure it doesn’t open up over time.
So nice my whole family wants to know how I did it

You can use the box like a disposable as well as decorative in your house. Simple and useful piece of craft! 🙃
