All you need for this simple origami pumpkin is a single sheet of square paper, we used 15x15cm or 6×6 inch origami paper for these.
These origami pumpkins are easy enough for most kids to learn, younger kids may need your help to begin with. They are created using an origami square base to start.

Step 1: Start by checking which side of the paper you have for the origami pumpkin, this is the front of our paper.

Step 2: If your paper has a different colour on the back, flip the paper over to the other side.

Step 3: Fold the bottom edge up to the top edge.

Step 4: Unfold the previous step.

Step 5: Fold the right edge over to the left edge.

Step 7: Flip the paper over to the other side and rotate it.
