
Easy Origami Bat
This origami bat looks more complicated than it is. Easy for kids to make with one sheet of square paper. Great for an easy Halloween paper craft idea!
This straightforward geometric style origami bat is designed by Nick Robinson.
Even though this origami bat only takes a couple of minutes and uses only a few folds, the resulting shape is very much like that of a real bat in flight.
Use any kind of paper for this Halloween themed origami, such as black or grey paper, you could even draw on a little bat face for fun!

Step 1: This is the front of our origami paper.

Step 2: Flip the paper over to the back side of the paper. Fold the bottom point up to the top point.

Step 3: Fold the right point over to the left point.

Step 4: Unfold the previous step.

Step 5: Fold the bottom edge up, leaving a small gap.

Step 6: Fold the top point down over the top of the front flap.

Step 7: This little triangular shape will be the bat's head.

Step 8: Fold the bat in half backwards, so that the head shape remains visible.

Step 9: Fold the "wing" diagonally up to the right.

Step 10: You should have something like this.
