Cute Origami Witch
Make a super cute origami witch for Halloween! This little origami doll can also be used as a bookmark. Make an origami witch hat too.
This Halloween origami witch is made from two seperate origami models. The cute origami person and the pointy origami witch hat.

For the model in the photo, we used 17 x 17 cm paper for the hat. And we used 21 x 21 cm paper for the origami person.
As you can imagine, you can draw any kind of face on the origami witch. Make it cute or scary!
The one below is wearing a much smaller hat, we used 7.5 x 7.5 cm for the hat and 15 x 15 cm for the green origami person. In hindsight, 10 x 10 cm for the hat would have been better!

Step 1: This is the front of our origami paper, this dark purple color will be the final result.

Step 2: This is the back of the origami paper, which is often white if you're using store bought origami paper, start this side up.

Step 3: Start by folding the bottom right corner up to the top left corner.

Step 4: Unfold the previous step.

Step 5: Fold the bottom left corner diagonally up to the top right corner.

Step 6: Unfold the previous step.

Step 7: Next, fold the lower edge up to the top edge.

Step 8: Unfold the previous step.

Step 9: Fold the right edge over to the left edge.

Step 10: And unfold the previous step.

Step 11: Fold the bottom edge up to meet the central crease.

Step 12: Unfold again.

Step 13: Now, fold the bottom edge up to meet the crease you made in the previous step.

Step 14: Next bring the top edge down to meet the top edge of the flap you created in the previous step.

Step 15: Unfold the last step, and then fold the top right and top left corners diagonally down as shown.

Step 16: Fold the left and right edges to meet in the middle.

Step 17: Unfold the previous step.

Step 18: Take the right edge and fold it over to the left crease we just made in the previous step.

Step 19: Next, fold the lower right corner diagonally as shown, crease well.

Step 20: Unfold the last couple of steps.
