Origami Flapping Bird
Learn how to make a fun origami flapping bird!
This easy origami bird flaps it’s wings when you tug his tail! Fun origami for kids to make.
All you need for this origami flapping bird is a single sheet of square paper. This is great party trick to learn.
This origami bird looks very similar to the traditional origami crane, but it’s a lot easier to make.

1. This is the front of the paper, our origami flapping bird will end up being this color.

2. This is the back of the paper, usually white.

3. Fold the right edge of the paper over to the left edge.

4. Unfold the paper.

5. Fold the bottom edge up to the top edge.

6. Unfold the paper.

7. Flip the paper over to the other side.

8. Fold the bottom right corner diagonally up to the top left corner.
The color of the paper is incorrect making it difficult to clearly understand some of the steps
The colour of the paper is not incorrect, using paper with a white side would be almost incomprehensible with a white background… which is why we only use paper with two different shades on each side. Hope that makes sense.
Step 26 and 28 are very hard.

I agree, it refers to wings and tails even though we don’t know which is which, and it I can’t figure out what they folded.

The one on the left is how they’ve explained to make it because there not clear on where your folding and I ended up swapping the wing for the tail but I guess it’s clear enough if you try twice
