Step 1: This is the front of our origami paper, the body of our hen will end up being this colour.

Step 2: This is the back of the origami paper, the hens head will be this colour.

Step 3: Fold the paper in half so that you have a triangle.

Step 4: Fold the top layer down a little from the top. The fold is about 1/5 of the height, but it doesn't have to be exact.

Step 5: Flip the paper over to the other side and fold the top point down the same amount.

Step 6: Fold the triangular flap up, leaving a small gap.

Step 7: Fold the paper in half, from left to right.

Step 8: Fold the right flap to the left, at an angle. This fold can be adjusted to give your chicken a different position.
