Origami Jumping Frog
Learn how to make a fun origami jumping frog! This easy origami frog will hop along the table. This is a great origami toy for kids to make.
All you need is one sheet of square paper for this origami jumping frog. We recommend using paper that is thin and at least 15 x 15 cm. Younger kids will find it easier to use bigger paper.

Hi. This is honestly one of my favorite origami creation. I did it and it was so fun! Thank you for the great tutorial!
It was so fun and awesome!! It really jumps, and easy to make, as long as you take time to understand it! Thank you!!

I really liked this origami frog. It really is fun and entertaining. I tried this origami on different papers and I personally think it jumps better with construction paper because it is thicker but that’s my opinion. I hope you have fun doing it and like the result!
it was easy and fun to make

So confusing, but looks very fun! 😅
So fun and cute
This was NOT easy. The first 2 sections were okay till the last pic on the 2nd pic and the whole 3rd section. And it was difficult to fold and apply the right pressure in the right places. It was tough and there was alotxof tiny very full paper corners to fold!
Love this frog; however, it is best, after the first fold, to cut paper in half along fold line and proceed from there. Otherwise, paper is too thick to finish last steps. Some of the last few unfolding-refolding steps can be confusing
It was so fun to make! I drew a face on mine. My mom helped me with the other one.
So cute!
Instructions were great. This is my first origami that I successfully made. My frog didn’t want to jump though (maybe it took a 😴 ) or it might be because I used the wrong (thin) paper. Nevertheless it looks like a frog . I am proud of myself and count it as a successful project. It certainly helped my boredom. Will try to make something else. Thank you!
I just made one and he jumps…on my way to babysit my grandsons now… hopefully we can make a few more!! thank you
