Bamboo Letterfold
Learn how to fold an origami Bamboo “letterfold”. This little origami note is folded into its own envelope shaped like a bamboo. Traditionally these Letterfolds are used to pass notes!
We think they would also work really well as a Tanabata (the Japanese star festival where you hang your wishes from a bamboo branch) bamboo, you can slot your letters into the bamboos layers.
We will need A4 size paper. The size of this paper is 210 x 297 mm (8-1/4 x 11-3/4 in).
You can also use half this size, such as 148 x 210 mm (5-7/8 x 8-1/4 in).
Please use our paper ratio calculator below: (if not showing, visit this link)
We have more origami stationery such as envelopes, Letterfolds and bookmarks, visit the origami stationery page here.

I did the origami and everything went well except I found the photo of step 12 to be upsidedown.
Folding origami is a fun way to inspire children’s dreams.
I love it so cool
