Learn how to fold a quick and easy origami egg from one sheet of square paper. This origami egg is perfect for kids to make at Easter.
All you need is one sheet of square paper, and in only a couple of minutes you will have a neat little paper egg to use in your Easter crafts.
Why not draw some fun patterns or paint stripes onto these little eggs!

Step 1: This is the front of our origami paper, your origami egg will end up this color.

Step 2: This is the back of our origami paper, which is often white if using traditional origami paper, you won't see this color on the final egg.

Step 3: Fold the paper in half to create a vertical crease in the middle.

Step 4: Unfold the paper, you now have a central vertical crease.

Step 5: Next, fold the top left and right diagonal edges to meet the central crease.

Step 6: Fold the bottom point up, you can make this fold bigger or smaller and it will change the shape of the bottom of your egg.

Step 7: Fold the top point down. Again, folding this lower or higher will mean a taller or shorter egg.

Step 8: Make some folds around the top and sides to make the egg more rounded.

Step 9: Flip the paper over to the front and your origami egg is completed.

Step 10: If you'd like your egg to stand up, fold the egg in half.

Step 11: You can now stand your egg up.
