28. Fold the bottom edge up to the top (of that section). The bottom of the heart remains underneath.

29. Unfold the previous step.

30. Fold the bottom edge up to meet the crease you created in the previous step.

31. Unfold the previous step, then fold the bottom edge up so that the creases align as shown.

32. Unfold the previous step.

34. Now concertina this flap by folding the top edge down to the top-most crease. Continue this until you have a concertina or fan shape. Fold the concertina downwards and shape the wings as shown.

Good job! but how did you do step 22? I don’t understand it!
Step 21 is: After flipping the paper over to the other side, step 22, fold the top part down.
Next, flatten the top diagonal edges of the paper down and that will be what you can see in step 23s photo.

I did not have the same kind of paper but it still worked.
I have gotten plenty of great origami things from this site, but this guide literally makes zero sense! How has anyone finished this?! I have worked on the same one for almost an hour now and still can’t make it past step 23. Can you please make a video or something?
i made it and all my friends were very jealous
There seems to be a step missing between 21 & 22. It’s not clear at all how to proceed.
At step 21, you can see the front-most light blue square section. Folding that downward will result in step 22’s appearance, as it says is the text.

i know how to do it! first you take the top and fold it down then you will get a shape so you fold it until it looks like to image on step 23.Hope this helps!
