        1. I also ripped 2 of my petals. It was kind of frustrating to rip something when your so close to the end. But I was able to improvise.

          1. It didn’t happen to me because all I needed was a refresher on this. I also watched the video.

    1. I am 8 years old but it’s hard but beautiful at the end I struggle a little but it’s fun doing origami!

    2. Oh my gosh, I’m 11 too! I love origami and I’ve tried it, super hard though right? I kept trying 3 times and nope, not it yet. I’m a girl and a twin, cool right! WELP I have to just KEEP TRYING

      1. im ten and i love origami! this was very chalenging at the end, but it was so fun to make. even though mine turned out not so great. 🙁 😉

  1. I actually found this very hard to fold by the end..using 150 x 150mm paper..
They were too stiff to fold properly and i struggled to do step 22 🙁

However im sure if i try again it’ll come out beautifully just like others
Thanks for sharing this wonderful origami tutorial :))

    1. I am Ilya and I am 9 now, and I was making origami for so long, I am literally a master at it. This origami is very cool, though mine also ripped😅

  2. Tia looks super pretty, but every time I try to flip the petals over to look well like
Petals, the paper always rips no matter what I do. My paper is 6 by 6 inches. Am I doing something wrong?

    1. Hi there! I can only suggest using larger paper, although it should be possible with any size. Perhaps the paper is too thick.

  3. I did it on second try! Step #18 is a bit tricky to do. The the corner must be held tightly. Place your thump underneath the flap and slowly pull the flap (about the holding point) to the other side. It work for me 🙂 Thanks for the instructions.

  4. i actually need you to use smaller paper because my origami paper at school is very small, so maybe you could make instructions and video with smaller paper. i am struggling to make the final product!

  5. I have a hard time pulling the petal the paper it tear up, at first I though maybe the paper is too small but using a larger paper still tear. Do you have any suggestions?

    1. It’s very easy to tear this model. When you are folding all the points inwards starting from step 6, make sure none of them are overlapping, it would be better to have a gap instead. When you bring the petals to the front, do so really carefully. The paper is delicate, especially if the folds have been “over-folded” as in the folds have been folded sharply, try not to score the folds with finger nails or anything. Hope that helps.
