33. Open out the middle box section and bring the left and right sections upwards.

34. Close the right section of the masu box.

35. Complete the box by folding the left section.

36. Now you can use the second box as a lid.

It Worked and it looks great but the lid doesn’t fit. I don’t know if this was user error or instruction error.
I did it and my lid fit maybe check the gap on step 27 and 29 or watch the video.
Users error mine works fined
Mine worked in the little bit perfectly and I made this one for my best friend but he has a paper ring from origami videos in it # MY bFF#my girlfriend … #i M bisexual.
Mine was slightly too big too. I think it’s if you make the gap to big when you fold the top bottom and side parts over in the next to last step.

I have tried to make it but there is a problem with No. 20 onwards
There may be a the size of my page size
Enjoyed making it, I used 15*15 paper; So beautiful.
You can also use a very little amount of glue for the bottom of your box to make sure it doesn’t open up over time.
So nice my whole family wants to know how I did it

You can use the box like a disposable as well as decorative in your house. Simple and useful piece of craft! 🙃
